Senior Proposal Writer: Under the direction of the CEO at a SDVOSB / federal contractor, I wrote and edited proposals and other company materials, and managed the proposal process from launch to submission—including scheduling, research, color reviews, compliance, and on-time delivery. A complex proposal that I wrote and managed for a large government Blanket Purchase Agreement earned praise from a company executive for the “best-organized proposal process ever.” I also created boilerplate copy for standard proposal sections, reworked proposal directories and files, and created content libraries in order to facilitate more effective searches and knowledge management.

Freelance Writer/Editor/Publicist: Press release written for the Colorado Student Power Alliance in 2013 was picked up by The Associated Press; resulting lead article ran in more than 100 newspapers nationwide.

Associate Creative Director/Lead Copywriter: My creative team produced 70 percent of The M Groups fundraising and direct mail projects, generating $50 million a year in revenue. Our creative director characterized the team as the most productive and cohesive one in the creative department.

Senior Copywriter: Wrote high-level advertising and fundraising campaigns, annual reports, newsletters, scripts, and ghost-writing projects for the CEO. Persuaded senior management to send key creative staff members to Direct Marketing Association training events―saving the organization $100,000/year previously spent on outside brand-marketing consultants.
